ELLSWORTH — The Maine State Police arrested a Bangor man Jan. 3 in connection with the burglary of artwork worth $100,000 from a Sedgwick residence.
David Conaway, 19, was arrested on charges of burglary and violating conditions of his release.
Trooper Caleb McGary and members of State Police Troop E worked to “recover the property from area pawn shops,” according to police.
Arrests and summonses
Frederick Palow, 58, of Ellsworth was arrested Dec. 31 on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant after a traffic stop in Ellsworth.
Two people from the Bronx were arrested following a crash on the Washington Junction Road in Hancock Jan. 1.
Troopers McGary and Josh Lander responded to the crash and arrested Amos David Roman, 30, on a charge of failure to report an accident by quickest means. A passenger, Giselle Feliz, 28, was arrested on a drug possession charge. Trooper Taylor Dube and his police dog assisted.
A Franklin man was summoned on a charge of operating without a license in Sullivan Jan. 1. At a traffic stop, Christopher Youngblood, 26, was allegedly found to be driving beyond restrictions on his license.
Following a traffic stop on Route 1A in Ellsworth Jan. 3, Michael Daigle, 54, of Bangor was summoned on a charge of operating after suspension.
