MDI splits double-header with Presque Isle



Presque Isle pitcher Carly Bell snared a bases-loaded line drive in the top of the seventh to preserve a 7-5 win for the host Wildcats in the first game of Saturday’s doubleheader against the Trojans.

Aubrie Boyce pitched a six-hitter for MDI in the second game to get the 5-3 win.

Avalon Kerley and Hannah Shaw each slapped three singles for the Trojans, who had 14 hits for the game.
