BANGOR — Ashley Smith drove in six runs with a three-run homer, a two-run homer and a double to lead the Ellsworth Eagles to an 8-1 win over the Crusaders on Wednesday.
The Eagles also had a solo home run and a single by Cristin Wright and two singles by Annika Firestone.
Freshman Megan Hunt went the distance in the pitcher’s circle, giving up just one run on four hits in her complete game effort.
