Crusaders Take Advantage of Errors to Beat Eagles

ELLSWORTH — With five unearned runs, thanks in part to three Ellsworth errors, the John Bapst Crusaders scored a 5-3 win on Tuesday.

The loss spoiled another solid pitching outing by righthander Tashia Daley, who allowed just five hits, struck out nine and did not walk a batter.

For Ellsworth, Ashley Smith drove in a run with a pair of triples and Lily Cooper had a double and two singles with an RBI.
