Lady Coyotes Nip Trojans

OLD TOWN — Two first-half goals, one of them on a penalty kick, lifted the Old Town Coyotes to a 2-1 win over the Trojans on Friday.

With the win, on goals by Micayla Hussey and Kelsey Maxim, the 8-2-2 Coyotes avenged an earlier loss to the Trojans.

MDI’s lone goal came in the second half by Grace Robinson.

Goalkeeper Elizabeth Sargent had six saves on eight shots for the Trojans, and Ashley Abbott made five stops on nine shots for Old Town.
