BUCKSPORT — Zach Emeigh scored three goals and Andrew Austin added two as the Eagles rolled over the Golden Bucks 7-0 on Thursday.

Emeigh scored the first goal of the game with about 10 minutes gone, then added a second six minutes later on an assist from Josh Bean.

Just 16 seconds later, Matt Duhaime gave Ellsworth a 3-0 lead as he drilled a shot off the foot of Bucksport goalie Joe Goodin that deflected into the net.

With 6:11 to go before halftime, Austin scored on yet another deflection.

He got his second goal just 2:33 into the second half, taking a cross from Duhaime at the penalty kick marker and driving it into the net.

Emeigh completed his hat trick at the 31:04 mark when he chested in a long throw-in from Austin at the near post.

Ellsworth capped its scoring at the 38:27 mark when another throw-in from Austin bounced loose in front of the goal and Tyler Palmer punched it into the net.

Goalkeeper Jordan Carter made six saves on nine shots for the Eagles, and Goodin finished with 10 stops on 22 shots for Bucksport.
