Coyotes Nip Trojans in Double OT

OLD TOWN — A penalty kick by Luke Bartlett in the second overtime lifted the Old Town Coyotes to a 4-3 win over the Trojans on Thursday.

The Trojans had rallied from a 3-1 halftime deficit to force the overtime, getting the tying goal by Ben Steel off a direct kick by Carl Ferm with just 27 seconds to go in regulation play.

Ferm and Devin Young had scored earlier goals for the Trojans.

Goalkeeper Connor Records made 11 stops on 16 shots for the Trojans, and Lee Larry and Cody Cross combined for two saves on five shots for the Coyotes.
