The Orono Red Riots unleashed a 25-short barrage on the Golden Bucks, turning seven of them into goals in a 7-1 win on Wednesday, Sept. 11, in Bucksport. Diana Tyutyunnyk scored twice for the Red Riots and Elizabeth Hardison, Becky Lopez-Anido, Kate Fergusson, Hanna Renedo and Makayla Brown each had single goals.
A direct kick by Debbie Wight provided the lone goal for Bucksport.
Orono goalkeeper Kaitlin Richards made five saves on six shots, and Alanna Davis and Makayla Boyer combined for 18 saves in goal for Bucksport.
