Bootin’ Eagle Soccer Camp to begin 1st of 3 sessions Monday



ELLSWORTH — Ellsworth High School is seeking registrants for its annual Bootin’ Eagle soccer camp with the first of three weeklong sessions set to begin next week.

The first weeklong session will be for students entering grades 7-12. That camp is scheduled to begin Monday, July 23, and conclude next Friday, July 27.

Students in grades 4-6 may compete in the next session, which begins July 30 and concludes Aug. 3. The final session, which is for students entering grades 1-3 as well as those about to begin kindergarten, runs from Aug. 13-17.

This marks the 27th year of Bootin’ Eagle camps, which teach team and individual soccer tactics and allows players to participate in 3-on-3, 6-on-6, 8-on-8 and 11-on-11 tournaments. Daily sessions began at 8 a.m. at the high school practice field and conclude at 12:30 p.m.
