MOUNT DESERT — Crow Running will host the 34th annual Northeast Harbor Road Race on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. The race is one of the oldest continually held track events held in the state; the course follows Somes Sound along Sargeant Drive. All proceeds will help support the Northeast Harbor Ambulance Company.
Race check-in and registration will be at Great Harbor Museum in downtown Northeast Harbor from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. All competitors will be bused to the starting line near the intersection of route 198 and Sargeant Drive. The Family Fun Walk begins at 9 a.m. and the race at 9:30 a.m. T-shirts will be awarded to the first 75 who register.
The registration fee is $25.
