BUCKSPORT — The cross-country season is only two weeks old, but it’s already shaping up to be a strong one for George Stevens Academy’s John Hassett.
After winning the Ellsworth Invitational on Sept. 3, the GSA senior finished nearly a full minute ahead of the next finisher to win Saturday’s 2.92-mile Bucksport Invitational. His GSA teammates swept both the boys’ and girls’ individual and team events. Below is a list of the top-10 individual finishers and all team scores for both the boys’ and girls’ events.
