ELLSWORTH — Coach Louie Luchini and his Ellsworth cross-country team delivered 60 pumpkins to children in the Down East Family YMCA’s afterschool program on Tuesday afternoon at the Moore Community Center.
YMCA Child Care Director Jessica Montgomery led the team to each room to mingle with the children and leave pumpkins behind for each class to decorate. Luchini offered to unload the large batch of pumpkins for a friend who wished to remain anonymous.
