DEER ISLE — The Mariners downed the Machias Bulldogs 35-20, despite scoring just one point in the second quarter, on Saturday.
Heidi Brewer led the Mariners with 10 points in the low-scoring contest and Britnie Jones was close behind with nine.
Fayranne Lipton had eight points to lead Machias.
