Griffi n Nightingale of the Ellsworth Eagles takes to the air for a shot against the John Bapst Crusaders. Nightingale led Ellsworth with 16 points in the win.

Trailing 32-26 at halftime in Bangor on Saturday, the Eagles erased the John Bapst Crusader lead woth an 18-7 third period and went on to a 61-53 win.

Griffin Nightingale led all scorers with 16 points, Brandon Braley had 13 points, six rebounds and three steals and Josh Bean added 12 points and four assists for the Eagles.

Sam Brown scored 15 points, Cody Lyons added 13 and Adam Strang had 10 for the Crusaders.
