Celtics top Bucks in 7 to reach Eastern Conference semis

ELLSWORTH — The Boston Celtics advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals for the second year in a row Saturday with a 112-96 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Boston’s Al Horford and Terry Rozier tied for a team-high 26 points apiece in the Game 7 win, and rookie Jayson Tatum added 20. Khris Middleton provided 32 points for Milwaukee. The home team won every game in the series.

Boston’s second-round opponent will be the Philadelphia 76ers, who beat the Miami Heat in five games in the first round after winning 16 straight to end the regular season. The Celtics will have home-court advantage throughout the series.
