Bucksport Girls A Holds Off ABA

BUCKSPORT — The ABA girls’ ‘A’ team got out to a slow start in their game against Bucksport on Saturday and down the stretch that early game sluggishness may have cost them the contest 36-32.

The girls were down 12 to 6 in the first quarter. They fought back to tie the game but couldn’t garner enough momentum and to the lead.

“At this level of play they need to be ready to go at the beginning of the game,” Coach Mike McEnroe said.
