Mariners Rally Past Pandas

DEER ISLE — The Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners were trailing the Lee Academy Pandas 4-2 when Kyle Seile stepped into the batter’s box in the sixth inning on Tuesday.

Seconds later, the Mariners had the lead as Seile slammed a three-run home run, lifting his team to a point-worthy 5-4 win over the Pandas.

Joe Condon also had a solo homer and a single and Hayden Ciomei contributed an RBI double and a single for the Mariners.

All four Lee Academy runs came on homers — a two-run blast by Dustin Sawtelle and solo shots by Devon Peters and John Chase.
