BLUE HILL — The George Stevens Academy Eagles closed out their regular season with a 10-3 win over the Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners on Wednesday.
The 10-5-1 Eagles got a superb pitching performance from righthander Jesse Dow, who allowed just two hits — a double by Oliver Lawson and a single by Jake Starkey — in his seven-inning complete game effort.
The Eagles took the lead for good with a seven-run second inning against Mariner starter Sam Grindle.
Josh Gale had a solo home run and a single, Dow had two singles with an RBI and Cole Andrews and Josh Bowden both had RBI doubles for GSA.
