Eagles Edge Raiders



ELLSWORTH — The Ellsworth Eagles came up with two runs in the bottom of the seventh to edge the Washington Academy Raiders 10-9 on Monday.

Cote Card singled home the game-winner after Thomas Sawyer had scored on a groundout to tie the game.

Card finished with three RBIs, Jordan Carter singled twice to drive in two runs and Brandon Braley singled twice with an RBI for the Eagles, who scored at least once in every inning but the sixth.
