BUCKSPORT — The Bucksport Golden Bucks downed the Presque Isle Wildcats 5-3 in the first game of a doubleheader on Monday.
James Potter’s two-run double in the fourth inning provided what proved to be the winning runs. Tyler McAllian also had two singles with an RBI.
Ryan Bailey went the distance on the mound for Bucksport, scattering seven hits.
In the 4-2 second game loss to the Wildcats, Billy DeRedin and Shawn Smith each singled twice and Mike Cummings had an RBI single for Bucksport.
