Bucks Outlast Eagles

BLUE HILL — Bucksport rallied from a 4-1 deficit, then snapped a 5-5 tie with single runs in the fifth and seventh innings to down the GSA Eagles 7-5 on Wednesday.

James Potter’s double drove in the winning run in the fifth and Potter scored on a double by Anthony Hamlin with the insurance run in the seventh.

Potter had a double and two singles, driving in three runs, Hamlin also had a single and Ryan Bailey singled twice and drove in a run for the Golden Bucks.

Tom Crowe’s two-run double in the third inning was the only hit for the Eagles against four Bucksport pitchers.
