BAR HARBOR — At halftime of the homecoming football game at the Mount Desert Island High School on October 4, six alumni of the school were inducted into the school’s athletic hall of fame.
Joan Westphal ’77 set several school and state records for track and cross country.
Shelly Gott-Miles ’83 was captain of the girls’ basketball team her junior and senior years.
Richard Norwood was a four-year starter for the Pemetic High School Indians in basketball from 1962 through his graduation in 1966.
Lee Hubbard graduated from Bar Harbor High School in 1958, where he played basketball, football, baseball, and ran cross country.
Andy Shea graduated from MDI High School in 1984, lettering in football, basketball, and baseball.
Jamie Cunningham ’99 was captain of the football team his junior and senior years.
