Ellsworth JV Boys Defeat Old Town 3 – 1

OLD TOWN — The Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School boys J.V. team competed against Old Town on Thursday winning 3 to 1.  The Ellsworth Falcons wasted no time capitalizing on a corner kick with a goal by Nick Carter. The Falcons continued throughout the rest of the first half communicating with their teammates and passing to space.

Ellsworth stepped onto the field in the second half making sure to maximize their effort and intensity and were determined to play at 120%.

Sam Giffin lofted a beautiful cross to the middle from the right side of the field and Jack Lee headed it in for a goal. Ellsworth was able to strike again when Sam Giffin took control of the ball in the eighteen and scored Ellsworth’s third goal. Old Town was able to score one goal during the final minutes to end the game 3 to 1.

The Ellsworth JV Boys are now 6 – 0 on the season.
