Ellsworth JV Boys Defeat Hampden

HAMPDEN — The Ellsworth JV boys competed against Hampden Monday at the Reeds Brook Field.

The Ellsworth falcons were able to score first with a goal from Jared Hamilton in second half and an assist from Jack Lee.

Ellsworth continued to work hard defensively as a team and minimized the shots on goal for Hampden.

Ellsworth netted their second goal with 12 minutes remaining in the game with a beautiful pass to space in the corner by Bradly Smith and Nick Carter was able to place it the bottom corner of the net.

The Ellsworth falcons did an outstanding job as a team controlling the ball in the second half and kept Hampden scoreless.

Jack Lee and Hunter Dougherty recorded the shutout for Ellsworth. Ellsworth won the game 2 – 0 and is now 3-0 on the season.
