Bruins top Leafs in 7, advance to face Lightning



ELLSWORTH — The Boston Bruins advanced to the second round of the NHL playoffs Wednesday by ousting the Toronto Maple Leafs in seven games with a 7-4 win in Game 7 at TD Garden in Boston.

Boston won three of the first four games of the series before Toronto battled back to tie it 3-3. Although Toronto held a one-goal lead after two periods, the Bruins scored four times in the third to claim the victory and advance.

The Bruins will face the Tampa Bay Lightning in the second round. Tampa Bay defeated the New Jersey Devils 4-1 in the first round and will have home ice throughout the series.

Tuukka Rask will start at goaltender for the Bruins in Game 1, and Andrei Vasilevskiy will be in net for the Maple Leafs. Below are dates, locations and TV listings for all games. If necessary, times for Game 5, Game 6 and Game 7 will be announced at a later date. All times are Eastern.
