OLD TOWN — Three Deer Isle-Stonington Mariner track-and-field athletes got back in the game, so to speak, on May 7 in a regular-season meet hosted by the Old Town Coyotes.
Luna Perry St. Peter led the Mariner charge with a first-place finish in the javelin.
The girls’ team scores were: Bangor 308, Old Town 178, Deer Isle-Stonington 26, Piscataquis of Guilford 24 and Dexter 2.
The boys’ team scores were: Bangor 158, Old Town 118, Dexter 54, Penquis Valley 4 and Piscataquis 1.
No Mariner boys participated in the meet.
The individual Mariner girls’ results were: 100 meters — 3, Luna Perry St. Peter, 13.62; 7, Macey Brown, 14.06; and 13, Maya Brown, 14.76.
100-meter hurdles — 5, Luna Perry St. Peter, 18.22.
High jump — 2, Luna Perry St. Peter, 4-8.
Long jump — 7, Macey Brown, 13-7.75; and 15, Maya Brown, 12-1.5.
Javelin — 1, Luna Perry St. Peter, 94-8.
