Margaret’s Suet Pudding

  • 2cups ground suet
  • 2 1/2cups flour
  • 1cup chopped raisins, dates, nuts
  • 1cup milk
  • 2/3cup molasses
  • 1full tsp. baking soda
  • salt
  1. In a mixing bowl, dissolve baking soda in milk. Combine well. Pour into a coffee can and tightly cover opening with wax paper and an elastic band. Steam for 1½ to 2 hours.
