Am I alone in wondering two things?
Firstly, what and who determined the necessity for the name changes of many of the hospitals and health care facilities in our region?
Was it to consolidate under a “corporate umbrella” or some such “streamlining,” as we are always being told?
Secondly, more curiously, I would like to know how much this project cost.
I do not just mean all the signage and logos on the streets and inside the buildings, but stationery, name tags, directories, business cards, uniforms and mugs.
Such a mouthful to say too!
So why and how much?
Could such a sum not be better used on actual health care perhaps?
