The Waltham-Eastbrook Youth Association has completed its sixth season of running its turkey shoots, and it was a huge success. This is the only fundraiser for the association, and it enables us to give several thousand dollars every year to the youth of these two towns. Many people and businesses help us make this such a success, but I’d like to single out a few who stand out for us.
Elliot Jordan & Sons for the use of their gravel pit. Full Circle Printing for providing us with targets. Friends & Family Market for giving us such a good deal on turkeys. Willy’s Gun Shop for its donation of shotgun shells. Treestump Leather for its donations of .22 ammo. Hank and Debbie Peters for donating a rifle for our raffle. Adam Jordan for the use of the freezer. The Jolly Juniors 4-H Club for refreshments. And my accomplice, Jim Smith, and all the other volunteers who gave up their Sunday mornings to help run things. And finally, all the sportsmen and women who came to compete and have fun. It’s their support that makes it possible for us to give scholarships to the youth of our two towns year after year. We thank you all
