Kylie Bragdon is running to replace term-limited Richard Malaby as representative for House District 136. She deserves strong voter support. Not yet 30 years old, Kylie is a Maine native, a graduate of the University of New England (mathematics) and is pursuing her doctorate in educational leadership at UNE. Kylie is currently an adjunct math teacher at Washington County Community College and also fishes for lobster out of Winter Harbor. She was elected to the Winter Harbor Board of Selectmen in June 2017. She taught math at Mount Desert Island High School for four years and is a graduate of Sumner Memorial High School. She knows the towns and the people in District 136 and is eager to provide them with impactful representation in the Maine House.
Kylie is an independent thinker who is not afraid to ask tough questions, or to be asked tough questions; she is equally a good listener. She is thoughtful about issues facing our society and has thought long and hard about how to strengthen American and Maine democracy. As a former member of the GOP, and now a Democrat, Kylie is well situated to work across the aisle and to find common ground among the members of our two major political parties.
Vote Bragdon this November.
