A conscientious coworker

Dear Editor:

I would like to express my thoughts for Juliette Wilbur, Republican candidate for register of probate.

Juliette has been a paralegal for 18 years and covered law firms in both the Bangor and Ellsworth area. Subsequent to that time, she has been employed as a clerk in the office of the Hancock County Registry of Probate and currently in the office of the Hancock County district attorney. Juliette is now running to be the next Hancock County register of probate. As former Hancock County treasurer, Juliette and I worked closely together at the courthouse prior to my retirement in December 2018. I found her to be efficient, accurate and a conscientious coworker.

Juliette lives in Ellsworth with her husband and young son. She is a working mom who values service and wants to give back to her community. After working as an employee in the registry and building on her experience at top law firms, Juliette is the ideal candidate to develop up-to-date procedures and systems while delivering excellent service to persons coming into the office for assistance. Juliette is sharp and I have the utmost faith that she will be on top of the budget process. She will be a tremendous addition to Hancock County elected officers.

I hope you will join me in electing Juliette Wilbur as the next register of probate on Nov. 3.
