Virginia A. (Reed) Everbeck



TREMONT — Virginia A. (Reed) Everbeck, 90, of Tremont, formerly of Winthrop, Mass., passed peacefully at home on Dec. 6, 2013.

Beloved wife of the late LeRoy P. Everbeck; and devoted mother of eight, the late Richard C., David R., and Donna E. Everbeck and five surviving daughters, Winifred J. Howie, Barbara L. Freeman, Elaine F. Domenico, Robin M. Charlton, and Karen T. Everbeck. Cherished “Nana” of 15 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and supportive family friends.

Virginia devoted her life to her family and her church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston. Fifty-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Past Worthy Matron of Colonial Chapter and Past Grand Representative. Filled with boundless energy, she directed musicals, volunteered, and in retirement enjoyed managing her Sunset Cottages in Richtown, Maine.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully received by the Christian Science Society, 39 Washington St., Ellsworth, ME 04605.
