BAR HARBOR — Theresa G. Colaluca, 88, died June 7, 2009 at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born in Cambridge, Mass., on Dec. 6, 1920, the daughter of Sebastian P. and Lucy (Feroleto) Giannotti. Theresa married Anthony “Tony” Colaluca on June 17, 1950 and they lived in Belmont, Mass.
She enjoyed being a homemaker. After her daughter was grown, she became a bookkeeper and worked for Massachusetts Hospital Association and Testing Labs of New England. She later retired to care for her mother. After Tony’s retirement in 1995, the couple moved to St. Augustine Beach, Fla. and lived there until 2004. At that time they moved to Bar Harbor and lived at Birch Bay Village. In October 2008 they moved to Ellsworth to live with their daughter and son-in-law.
She is survived by daughter Judie Tardiff and Judie’s husband Randy of Ellsworth; granddaughter Heather Noonan of Bar Harbor; several nieces, nephews and many cousins. She was predeceased by her husband in May 2009; and earlier by sister Mary O’Brien. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Holy Redeemer Church with Father O’Hara as celebrant.
