TUCSON, ARIZ. and SEDGWICK
Rosemary Finney Edmonston, longtime resident of Tucson, Ariz., and Sedgwick died peacefully Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, a month short of her 97th birthday. Rosy was born in Plainfield, N.J., eldest of three children.
She graduated Smith College, Class of ’34. She and her late husband, Bill, lived in the Tucson Mountain foothills after settling there in 1941. The couple spent summers at their fishing camp in Sedgwick after Bill retired in 1980. Rosy will be remembered for her generous support of various initiatives in both communities. She was always full of humor, hospitality and interest in new things.
She will be greatly missed by her family, daughter, Betsy; son-in-law Brian; granddaughters, Michelle, Serena, Nicola and Michelle’s husband, Roger; her four great-grandchildren, Finn, Calypso, Matilda and Benjamin; and by her many friends.
