BLUE HILL — Randall Frederick Perkins, “Randy,” “Dad,” “Uncle Randy,” “Stash,” “Grizz,” was the eldest son of Fred Varney Perkins and Patricia Curran Perkins, born Aug. 16, 1953. He departed his beloved Blue Hill Peninsula for bigger fishing grounds on June 24, 2015. In his final 48 hours, he was surrounded by his enormous family and devoted friends, with a sendoff filled with prayers, stories, long strong embraces, laughter and open weeping.
With tremendous love and pride we, his family, welcome you all to attend his services. The first will be on June 30 at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 70 Pleasant St., Waterville. The second will be a celebration of his life on July 3 at 10 a.m. at Wade Dow’s boatyard, Bridges Point Lane, Brooklin. A potluck feast to follow, come as you are, all are welcome. Share stories, meet his gargantuan tribe and be prepared to celebrate Randy’s life! The family invites donations to one of his faithful causes, The Wounded Warrior fund of America.
