Our mom was a great person. My sisters and I couldn’t have asked for a better, more thoughtful mom. She was a beautiful person, always putting us first. She had a heart bigger than most. Anyone who knew her knows that she was very generous. We hope that her selflessness rubs off on us because it was infectious and couldn’t help but be noticed and felt by those close to her. Growing up, we never wanted for much and got anything we needed, whether it was a shiny new bike or a steadfast hug to cure all woes. Our mom often got us through tough times. She was always a good listener and often would offer up advice, but would usually say just enough of what you wanted to hear to get you to listen to the rest of her tidbits of wisdom … clever.
Not only was she a wonderful mother but she was also a wonderful grandmother to Bobby, “Scooter,” Bryce, Paul, Ana and James, who knew her lovingly as “Grammy,” “Granny” and “Grandma Polly.”
Mama, we all love you a bushel and a peck and are very blessed that God chose you to be our mother. We are so sorry for ourselves and others who are going to miss you, but we are happy you are finally at peace.
John, Wendy, Tracie and Sharon Faye
