Paul Martin Fraser

TRINITY, FLA. — Paul Martin Fraser, age 59, formerly of Hampstead, N.H., passed away unexpectedly March 18, 2011, in a home he shared with his best friend and beloved companion, Donna Lord Henry, in Trinity, Fla.

Paul was a dearly loved son to Donald E. and Louise (Ducharme) Fraser and brother to Donald W. Fraser, who predeceased him. Paul is survived by his brother, Thomas M. Fraser and his wife, Charlene, of Hampstead, N.H.; sisters, Lillian H. Douville of Marshfield and her husband, Donald, Genevieve Fraser of Orange, Mass., Mary Ann Sawant and husband, Ajay, of Lowell, Mass.; and his nieces, Susanni Douville Hull, Rebecca Douville Albright, Jennifer Van Horne and Rebekah Lovat Fraser; as well as several great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great-nephew. He will also be greatly missed by Donna Lord Henry’s children, Wildon and Thomas Henry Jr. and Melissa Cole; and her five grandchildren.


At the time of his death, Paul worked at a hospice as a certified nursing assistant, where he dedicated himself to the care and comfort of the dying. Prior to moving to Florida, Paul lived in Maine and worked with handicapped children. He also worked at Tewksbury State Hospital in Massachusetts as a nurse assistant. Paul played guitar and sang and enjoyed entertaining as well as hiking and snowmobiling in the Maine woods. He also enjoyed bicycling, carpentry, gardening and boating along the Gulf Coast and Florida Keys. Paul was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, N.H. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy.

Per his wishes, Paul has been cremated and his ashes scattered at sea.
