Norman Albert Gott, 85, died May 23, 2020, at Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital in Ellsworth. He was born May 20, 1935, in Bar Harbor, the son of late Albert M. and Evelyn H. (Wentworth) Gott.
On Oct. 26, 1956, he married Christina Mitchell Gott. Norman and Christina shared many years together enjoying camping, cruises, bus tours and many trips over the years with friends. He was a master plumber for most of his life, he enjoyed being a lobster fisherman in his spare time, and he also loved western movies and books. He was an extremely kind and gentle man.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Christina; five children, sons William and partner Rita, Bruce, Frank and his wife, Kate, and Dale; his daughter Maria and her husband, Mark; six grandchildren, Albert and his partner Lindsey, Nick and his wife, Misty, Justin and his wife, Rachel, David and his wife, Kristen, Curtis and his wife, Lindsay, and Tony and his wife, Amberosity; and many great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be announced later.
