Lucille Frost passed away peacefully March 11, 2021, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. She was born Nov. 26, 1935, to Phillip and Ethelyn (Curtis)Cossar in Corinna.
She was a member of the Southwest Harbor American Legion Auxiliary and Tremont Congregational Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, family gatherings and sharing her talents by gifting to family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Theresa Parsons of Unity and Karen Richards of Lincoln; two sons and their wives, Gerald Jr. and Beth Frost of Seal Harbor and Kenny and Jennie Frost of Dexter; a daughter-in-law, Diane Frost of Southwest Harbor; and a son-in-law, David Duprey of East Millinocket; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; one brother and wife, Phillip and Georgetta Cossar; six sisters and husbands, Marlene and Richard Cameron, Louise and Irvin Caverly, Carol and Bruce Simpson, Elaine and Raymond Richards, Marjorie “Jeannie” Garland and Marilyn Cossar; several nieces and nephews, whom she all loved dearly; also, a very special friend, Tish Stanley.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald O. Frost; parents, Bernard and Ethelyn Cossar; two sons, Phillip Frost and Donald Cossar; one daughter, Kathleen Duprey; two great-granddaughters, Kathleen Priest and Kimberly Goodrow; two sisters, Mildred and Estella Cossar; and a brother, Albert Cossar.
