SULLIVAN — Lois E. Bunker, 91, of Sullivan, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, Ellsworth. Lois was born March 21, 1919, in South Gouldsboro, a daughter of George L. and Ruth (Hammond) Daley.
Lois was married to Carroll Bunker. Lois was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She worked for the Stinson Canning Co. for over 40 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Joyce Tibbetts and husband, Lowell, of Sullivan; two brothers, Kendall Daley and his wife, Clara, of South Gouldsboro and Harry Daley and his wife, Lila, of Winter Harbor; one sister, Twila Bunker of Franklin; four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and three stepgrandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Carroll J.; one sister, Robertina Preble; and two brothers, Dayton and Reynold Daley.
Spring interment will take place at Simpson Cemetery, Sullivan. The family would like to thank Dr. LaRocco and the staff at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital for Lois’ care.
