NORTHEAST HARBOR and HONG KONG—Lisa Stewart, 52, died May 28, 2010, in Bar Harbor after a five-year battle with cancer.
Drawing on her degree from Barnard and her ability to speak five languages, Lisa built up a successful investment firm in Hong Kong, specializing in the Asian economy. Lisa’s love of life included summers on Mount Desert Island, cooking and travel.
She is survived by her father, William P. Stewart; her mother, Barbara Stewart; her brothers, Greg, Jeff and Tres; her loving husband, Charles Target and their three children, Sinclair, Cameron and Charlotte. Lisa will be remembered and missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Friends are invited to call 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2010, at Jordan-Fernald, 1139 Main St., Mount Desert. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 11, at St. Mary’s By the Sea, Shore Road, Northeast Harbor. Interment will be later this summer.
