BAR HARBOR — Lisa d’Arcy Plourde, 56 years old, died Monday, April 15, 2013, at Mount Desert Island Hospital. She was born Aug. 28, 1956, in Houlton, the daughter of Edna Tompkins of Great Britain and Dorson Plourde of Stockholm, Maine.
Lisa fell in love with Mount Desert Island while visiting on summer vacations with her family and later working summers in Bar Harbor. She was an excellent birder, an optimistic gardener and a huge fan of the New England Patriots.
Lisa was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her loving friend, Bonnie Lyons; sister, Erica and her husband, George Naaman, of Freeport; brother, Franz and his wife, Nancy, of Raymond; and brother, Yana and his wife, Susan, of Crestview, Fla.
