Helen S. Pervear, 89, of Stonington, passed at home April 1, 2021.
Helen was born the youngest of six children to Ralph H. and Vera E. (Grindle) Steele in Brooksville on Feb. 27, 1932.
She was a 1950 graduate of Stonington High School. Helen is survived by her husband, George G. Pervear of Stonington; daughters, Deborah (Nash) Eaton of Stonington and Nikki and husband, David Varney, of Pennsylvania; brother, Sterling “Dave” Steele of Stonington; four granddaughters, Emmi Ellen Eaton of Deer Isle and Megan, Erin and Lauren Varney, all of Pennsylvania; three great-grandsons, Cody R. and Camden G. Grimmel of Greene and Brenden J. Eaton of Deer Isle; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Scott.
Per Helen’s request, there will be no service. A private committal will be held at a later date.
