Guy Wycoff

flagFRANKLIN — Guy Wycoff, 61, died Feb. 4, 2015, at an Ellsworth hospital. He was born Aug. 11, 1953, in Norfolk, Va., the son of Guy and Louise (Moore) Wycoff Sr.

Guy served in the U.S. Navy, working as a military police officer, retiring after 21 years of service. After his retirement, he worked as the Gouldsboro police chief and later as a federal officer at the Federal Building in Bangor. Guy was a trained K-9 handler and loved working with dogs.

Guy is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Lori L. (Colby) Wycoff; three sons, Guy M. Wycoff of Phenix City, Ala., Jacob Wycoff of Bucksport and Matthew Wycoff, of Warren; a daughter, Ariana Wycoff, of Franklin; seven grandchildren; Gabe, Colby, Jacob “Bee,” Delilah, Noah, Aiden, Belle and Maine, his dog.

Services will be private. Those who desire may make contributions in Guy’s memory to the Wounded Heroes of Maine, P.O. Box 1797, Saco, ME 04072.
