OTIS and OLD TOWN—Constance Marie Fayle, 78, died April 16, 2010, at Maine Medical Center, Portland. She was born March 28, 1932, in Old Town, the daughter of Mitchell and Eva (Messier) Brissette.
Connie graduated from Old Town High School. She married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Leslie E. Fayle Jr., and they remained married until his death in 1981. Connie was happiest when she was with her family at her cherished home on Beech Hill Pond watching the fire and hearing the loons. She was a devoted member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and served as a volunteer receptionist for Father Mower. She enjoyed her time spent with the Women’s Council and Bell Choir of St. Joseph’s. She was also a member of the Otis Garden Club.
Connie is survived by her daughter, Linda Dority and husband, Steve, of Freeport; sons, Leslie E. Fayle III of Kentucky and David M. Fayle of New Jersey; loving brother, Edmond Brissette, 88, of Otis. She was predeceased by brothers, Robert, Donald and Romeo; sisters, Jeanette and Bernice Brissette.
Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 231 Main St., Ellsworth with Father Scott Mower, celebrant.
