Charles Robinson

LAMOINE — Charles Robinson, 45, passed away peacefully Sept. 30. 2010, at home. He was born Feb. 4, 1965, in Bar Harbor, to Thomas and Evelyn Robinson.

Charles was very well known and loved by many. He worked hard at the traditional Downeast jobs: digging clams and worms, eel fishing, lobstering and brushing. He will be most remembered for his ability to make anyone smile. Charles could be counted on to help out others any way he could, cheerfully and without expecting anything in return.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Robinson; his parents, Thomas and Evelyn; his mother-in-law, Pat Taniashvili; a sister, Cathy Morton and husband, Adam. Charles had three children who loved him very much, Priscilla Wallace and her fiancé, J.R. Getchell, Lorna Wallace and her special friend, Josh Stanwood, Thomas Wallace and his significant other, Ashley Fenton; also the mother of his children, Doris Wallace; a stepson, Zachary Neptune; a niece and nephew, Kelly Ann Gaudette and Jacob Morton; two special grandchildren, Mika Seavey and Rozlyn Wallace; great-aunt, Gladys Richardson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends; and man’s best friend, Max. Charles was predeceased by his younger brother, Thomas Robinson Jr., “Big Bubba,” whom he loved and missed very much. We lost a great man and our lives will never be the same. He was our rock, forever in our hearts.
