Barbara was a strong, intelligent, and independent woman who lived life her own way. She believed in lending a helping hand to people when she could. Though small in stature, she was a mighty force. Her life revolved around her family, particularly her children and grandchildren. She was always up for a traveling adventure. She was an avid reader, writer and a beautiful artist who loved to paint.

Though her journey in this world has ended, her spirit will live on in the lives of all of those she touched, and she will be forever missed. Many thanks to all, whose kind words, thoughts, prayers and action helped Barbara and her family these past few months. A private memorial is planned. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor.
