ELLSWORTH — Elementary and middle school students will have the option to use telehealth counseling services after School Board members on Nov. 8 unanimously approved a grant-funded pilot program. Three days of telehealth counseling services will bolster the current two-day, in-school counseling provided by Community Health and Counseling Services (CHCS). CHCS will provide the telehealth services as well.

“I personally know how challenging it is to find mental health services for kids right now,” board Chairperson Kelly McKenney said. “I think this is a wonderful service to provide our students.”
