ELLSWORTH — Artist Jeanne Seronde Perkins will lead a silk painting and nontraditional batik workshop on Tuesday, July 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Woodlawn.
Participants will learn the art of silk painting with salt and water-based resist by creating a scarf in the morning. Nontraditional batik techniques will be explored in the afternoon.
Participants should bring a bag lunch.
Space is limited, so pre-registration is required by calling 667-8671.
