Workshop set at Blue Hill Library September 15, 2018 on Community Announcements BLUE HILL — Author Cara Guerrieri will present a workshop titled “Drunks, Poachers, and Renegades: Get Inspired to Write Your Family Memoir” at the Blue Hill Public Library on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 10 a.m. The workshop is sponsored by the library and is free, but space is limited, so registration is required. Participants are encouraged to bring a small family artifact to help them get started, like a photo, diary or letter. The goal of the workshop is for each participant to go home with a fun and meaningful story/snippet of his or her family history and a plan for moving forward. Guerrieri co-authored “Pure Joy” with her mother and “The Spaghetti Gang” with her father. She earned her Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Western State Colorado University and is a staff writer for the Crested Butte Magazine. She splits her time between Blue Hill and Gunnison, Colo. For more information, call the library at 374-5515.
